New factory surplus Stewart Warner heavy duty 30 inch flexible extension shaft. This flexible drive shaft allows connection to drive take-offs used for mechanical tachometers/ speedometers or other instruments on heavy diesel/gas engines and other equipment with common 7/8-18 threaded nut takeoff connection with .187" (appox.3/16"drill diam) tang male drive tip. (Common size also used on Mallory & Vertex distributor / magneto tach takeoffs). Upper connection on the flex shaft is 7/8-18 male thread with .187" female slotted hole to accept gear drive ratio adapters or upper cable with .187" tang cable end tip. The lower drive tip on the extension shaft is the Stewart Warner replaceable compensating type that snaps onto the shaft and is self-aligning for maximum reliability and service life (I also have available .203" lower compensating tip).
